A between-worlds ambient journey through vanished lanes, quiet trees, and maps that keep leaving the paper.
Side A walks you home along a Lincolnshire lane that no longer exists, docks in a corridor of light, holds its breath beneath Yiddish trees, answers every name water has ever been given, climbs an Atlas ascent through drowned architecture, and posts a wet summer postcard from Koblenz. Side B decides the right thing is just to leave, sits at a hummingbird campfire, hums the normal order of things after midnight, names an uncatalogued creature, paints the moon with earthshine, and ends on an atlas of shifting clouds.
Overall mood: Melancholic, luminous, and quietly migratory — full of Passed Oceans, analog weight, and weather with no name in the rear-view. Perfect for late listening, leaving rooms gently, or sitting still while the tide rearranges the map.
