The Creative Philosophy

Trevor describes his online portal, trevor.se, as “a gateway, a transmission”. He believes that the platform “drives like a phantom broadcast, sliding between wavelengths”. Trevlad Sounds Acts “jukebox not limited by playlists but by prophecy”. To step into his sound world is to ‘abandon certainty’ and to let the familiar dissolve

The goal is for his program to pull in the listener, “form the silence, dissolve the time”, so that you “Never will hear the world the same way again”

His program is independent, non-affiliated and broadcast spontaneous without a fixed schedule “Several times a week”

The role of Curator and Artist

Trevor curates the 90-minute program, such as TVCL, which he describes as “genre bending drifts through frequencies from around the globe”. The listening is likened to being at a music festival where the artists play on a “rotating stage”.

As an artist, Trevor contributes to his own programs under the name Trevlad, often with the background soundscapes to the sections. Examples of his own tracks in the mixes include “Microbia Caravan”, “Pulled Indoors Passage”, “Pencils Lure Being”, and “Host Surfed Goals”

Releases under Trevlad:

• Trevor releases a TVCL album every 16th episode. These albums contain the complete versions of the background soundscapes from every episode.

• The eighth TVCL album (TVCL 08) available for pre-order on Bandcamp
