A cliffside, slightly occult ambient journey through spirit bridges, distant evenings, and questions that keep answering themselves.
Side A opens among Provo cliffdwellers and castle waters, then dreams through 808 notebook sequences, sits with Scottish-Swedish darkness, tunes the senses to E.S.P., and holds surface tension across Passed Oceans. Side B begins a mysterious Mechanicus chapter, places the world at your feet for Phantom’s centenary, spices the reel with French library flute and Leipzig afrobeat, flashes a fourteen-second miniature, and ends decaying underwater — however oceanic of you.
Overall mood: Contemplative, faintly eerie, and quietly playful — full of exclusive darkness, compilation water, and short surprises after the flip. Perfect for late listening, sitting with the unexplained, or letting the tape keep asking while the ocean answers.

00:02:21 spaceseer – Cliffdwellers
I start with an apology to the artist EBlo who in the last episode I mixed up with an artist of the same name. EBlo is in fact based in Malmö, Sweden and not the US. Also a shout out to the wonderful aeon who not only is one of my only subscribers but also left a comment on a show a while back and asked me to do an episode of his amazing CAMP radio monthly series Fragments. Opening this episode with a piece from the new compilation album Gemstones VII out on Cyclical Dreams that Record label focused on Berlin School, Ambient, Soundscape, Space Music, Drone, and electronic music. Provo, Utah based spaceseerer who’s described themselves as doom-synth and dark ambient.

This is followed by another track from the same Cyclical Dreams compilation. Klaus Wolfe is the only artist that has released work on The Dream Journal Institute label that seems to actually exist anywhere else

from the album Holo which is released on Ethereal Projector which is a sub label of Ambient Cat which in turn is a sub label of Chitra Records or something like that.

00:17:11 Euan Alexander Millar-McMeeken & Henrik Meierkord – The Evening Seems So Distant
The first exclusive track today comes from this Scottish Swedish collaboration. From the album Darkness Is Just Darkness which will be released on September 22 on the Audiobulb label.
Synths, drones and cello. Spoken passages sit inside the music. Darkness as a state to sit with.
00:22:39 The British Stereo Collective – E.S.P.
The penultimate track of side A and an aboloute legend of the synth world. From the self released album TeleKinesis The trilogy that began with ExoGenesis and continued with ProtoSynthesis now concludes with TeleKinesis: a journey through the mind and the senses; through consciousness and altered states.

The final track of side A and the longest piece on the episode at 7:51. From that must have new Passed Recording compilation Passed Oceans. Classical instruments, punk years, electronica as therapy. Half of sales to Doctors Without Borders.

After that the cassette reaches its midpoint and flips.

We open with annother long track of the episode at 7:42 from two compilation albums recently released. First the whopping 53 track name your price album Summoning 4 out on Hull, UK based Netlabel for sounds of horror, the occult and the unexplained “Dittany of Crete” and also on channel supporting Argentinian label Cyclical Dreams stunning Gemstones VII.
Adeptus Mechanicus is Dutch noise, dark space ambient and sound art.

The second exclusive track of the episode and a shorter one at 1:42. From the album House with a Curse which releases October 16 on one of our favorite labels Clay Pipe Music. I love when these two get together. Shout out to Tommy for sending me this.
