A between-worlds ambient journey through vanished lanes, quiet trees, and maps that keep leaving the paper.
Side A walks you home along a Lincolnshire lane that no longer exists, docks in a corridor of light, holds its breath beneath Yiddish trees, answers every name water has ever been given, climbs an Atlas ascent through drowned architecture, and posts a wet summer postcard from Koblenz. Side B decides the right thing is just to leave, sits at a hummingbird campfire, hums the normal order of things after midnight, names an uncatalogued creature, paints the moon with earthshine, and ends on an atlas of shifting clouds.
Overall mood: Melancholic, luminous, and quietly migratory — full of Passed Oceans, analog weight, and weather with no name in the rear-view. Perfect for late listening, leaving rooms gently, or sitting still while the tide rearranges the map.

“Greetings all. Episode one-five-five of the Virtual Cassette Library. Subtitled Ducks File Likewise. That’s the track you hear underneath, and it’s also a location you can find on a map. I filmed it—it’s up on YouTube if you’re curious.
I’m your host Trevor, presenting you with ninety minutes, two virtual sides, fifteen tracks each. You’ll hear Suncastle, Gelbart, Aythar, Prairiewolf, and deepspace. Loula Yorke, Barker, and Michael Brückner drift into kosmische and ambient zones, while Strangebird~Sounds, Orfin, and Multiplex carry us into the B side. Trunk Stubbed Wiser is the episodes subtitle, as well as the track you’re hearing in the background and it’s geographical location which I’ve filmed and can be experienced on YouTube.
I’m Trevor and I curate these 90-minute genre bending drifts through frequencies from around the globe. No commentary. No interruptions. Just pure sonic immersion. Two, 45 minute mixes, 15 tracks per side with a side change in the middle.
Picture the listening experience like being at a music festival where the artists play on a rotating stage. Each act is allotted time for their piece and as it ends the next act takes over rotating into view.
Styles for this episode range from ambient to post-rock, from eurorack modular to folk. The musical keys in focus are F sharp major D flat major and D sharp minor, E flat minor.
This episode contains some household names like Hainbach, Loula Yorke and Matthew Halsall.
