“Hello, I’m Trevor, and this is episode one‑five‑six of the Virtual Cassette Library. The A side opens with a super exclusive by Granada Spain duo Kiko & Miguel better known as, matsu. The track Quietud will be their 4th single from their upcoming release Umbral. The album is not due for release until october 2. This single will be officially released on September 18, but you non subscribers can hear it here until the 23 august. The album, Umbral, inhabits that in-between space, that threshold: where what we feel and what we do don’t fully align, where what once felt steady begins to tremble. The release will be accompanied by an 8-part film, with each chapter conceptually interpreting one of the album’s tracks. Together, all eight chapters form a visual entity that shares the name Umbral. The film is directed by filmmaker and artist Héctor Ayuso.
